Biography
Mr. Rausch is a native-born Idahoan, raised right here in the Treasure Valley. Mr. Rausch’s father was a local general contractor, and he grew up on construction sites. After finishing his undergraduate degree and initial military training, he spent six years working in construction. First as a superintendent for a general contractor and then as a Construction Inspector and Contracting Officer for the Idaho Military Division before attending law school. He brings a wealth of knowledge in contracts, construction management, and land use planning.
Mr. Rausch has served in the Idaho Army National Guard since 2009 and is an Engineer Officer. He is deploying with the Idaho Army National Guard’s 2nd Battalion 116th Cavalry Regiment in 2022 through 2023. He volunteers his time with the Idaho Military Legal Alliance and served as a Commissioner on the Ada County Planning and Zoning Commission prior to his deployment.
